Levi: 14 months old

Seriously! Is it November already? We've been here for almost 3
months. That's like a YWAM school, completed. I'm really glad we are
not leaving at the end of 3 months. I'll be so sad.

Levi is now 14 months old. He's getting more verbal now, if only I
understand what he's saying. Somehow Sophie understands and I find
that super amazing. Sometimes she translates for me - "Levi wants
more!", ah..., "Levi needs a nap", ah.....

He's getting louder too. We've finally succeeded in training him to
say "more" instead of yelling when the food is slow in coming. This
little boy gets very impatient when it comes to food.

He's going thru a phase where he wants me to carry him or be with him
all the time. That's super tiring especially since I need to
homeschool Sophie too. So I work with that and he sits on my lap when
we study. It works out, he joins in the fun too. When we paint, he
paints (or he eats the paints). When we play with dough, he plays too.
In fact, he works super hard to be like his sister in everything. He
attempts to write, draw and read too. SUPER CUTE.

However, when I'm not around, he's totally fine on his own. Which
explains why everyone loves having him at childcare coz he's so low
maintenance. :) He goes to childcare once a week on Tuesdays at Chapel
time and at church on Sundays.

He's now enjoying being the pram, which is great so I no longer need
to carry him around in the Ergo except when he needs to nap. The buses
and drivers here are GREAT. I can easily go up and down buses (they
actually lower the bus, so good) with the pram. And the drivers
actually WAIT for us to settle down before moving on. So nice. I love
it! And everyone moves out of the way for us to sit down. It's
standard procedure here and you will get stared at and scolded if you
don't move for the needy. So good. So gracious. Feel like giving them
the Courtesy Lion sticker.

I think he's teething again, which probably explains the whining. The
molars are painful.

He has "upgraded" from wordless "GoodNight Gorilla" to "Curious George
Goes To The Zoo". I've been reading it endless times to him. I see
three similarities between the two books - monkeys, bananas and zoo.
Levi LOVES bananas. So now he'll point to the bananas in the book and
say "nananana".

Oooo and he's started to kiss. I love it! He's so thrilled to make
Sophie and I so happy when he kisses us on our cheeks. Ooo I'm so
happy I have a boy and a girl. They are just so amazingly different
and special in their own ways.

Levi, Mummy is SO thankful that you came into our lives and you bring
us so much sweetness and joy. Love you little one.
